Patient Survey

Understanding the GP Patient Survey – and How You Can Help Us Improve

The GP Patient Survey is a national survey conducted annually by NHS England. It asks a randomly selected group of patients across the country to provide feedback on their experience with their GP practice. The survey covers areas such as appointment availability, staff interactions, overall satisfaction, and more.

While this national survey offers some insight into patient satisfaction, only a small number of patients at Priory Medical Centre are invited to take part each year (284 surveys sent in 2025 – just 1.49% of our practice population), and of those, even fewer respond (92 surveys sent back – 32% of surveys sent out, or 0.48% of our practice population). This means the results may not accurately reflect the experience of the wider patient population at our practice.

Introducing Our Own Patient Survey

To gain a more meaningful understanding of how we are performing and where we can improve, Priory Medical Centre has launched its own Patient Feedback Survey. This local survey is open to all patients, not just a selected few, and can be completed at any time that suits you.

By sharing your experience, you’ll help us:

  • Gather more accurate statistics

  • Better understand patient needs and satisfaction

  • Make service improvements where needed

  • Celebrate what we’re doing well

Have Your Say

We encourage you to take just a few minutes to complete our survey. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will directly inform how we shape and improve our services.

Results

Once the survey has closed and the results have been compiled, the results will be shared with the PPG and wider patient population on this page. We hope this will be towards the end of October 2025.
