Zero Tolerance Policy

At Priory Medical Centre, we are committed to delivering high-quality care in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all patients, visitors, and staff.

We operate a Zero Tolerance Policy towards any form of abuse, aggression, or violence. This applies to behaviour in person, over the phone, or in written communication, including online messages and social media.

We will not tolerate:

  • Verbal abuse, shouting, swearing or inappropriate language

  • Aggressive, intimidating, or threatening behaviour

  • Physical violence or assault

  • Harassment or discriminatory remarks, including those of a racial, sexual, or homophobic nature

  • Malicious allegations or defamatory comments about staff or the practice

Such behaviour causes distress and anxiety and will not be accepted in any circumstances. Anyone acting in this way may be:

  • Asked to leave the premises

  • Removed from the practice list in line with both NHS England & Practice Policy

  • Reported to the police, if appropriate

Our team is here to help, and we are committed to treating everyone with courtesy and respect. In return, we ask that all patients and visitors treat our staff and other patients with the same consideration.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
