Priory Medical Centre is pleased to share a newly updated service offer from the Warwickshire Community Infant Feeding Team, providing high‑quality, evidence‑based support for families across the county.
💙 What the Infant Feeding Team Provides
The service offers a blend of proactive, accessible support designed to help you get off to the best start with feeding your baby.
North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Rugby
Families in these areas benefit from:
- Proactive 1:1 infant feeding support from birth to 8 weeks, delivered via telephone, video calls and text messaging “Proactive offer for 1:1 infant feeding support postnatally from birth to 8 weeks…”
- Weekly face‑to‑face drop‑in sessions (no age limit), with staff trained in tongue‑function assessments “Weekly face to face sessions… Staff trained in tongue function assessments.”
- Evidence‑based resources to support feeding at home
- Breast pump loan service, following assessment by the team
South Warwickshire
Families in the south of the county can access:
- Telephone/video support following Health Visitor referral (birth to 8 weeks) “Telephone/video call offer following Health Visitor only referral from birth to 8 weeks.”
- Evidence‑based resources for home use
- Open invitation to attend any drop‑in groups across Nuneaton, Bedworth, North Warwickshire and Rugby
🤱 Weekly Breastfeeding Support Groups
Friendly, welcoming drop‑in groups are available for all families — whether breastfeeding or bottle‑feeding expressed breast milk.
Monday Atherstone – North Warwickshire Children & Family Centre 10:00–11:30
Wednesday Nuneaton – Camphill Children & Family Centre 10:00–11:30 Rugby – Claremont Children & Family Centre 10:00–11:30
Friday Bedworth – St Michael’s Children & Family Centre 10:00–11:30
