NHS Cervical Screening Programme digital invitations 

NHS England have today advised GP Practices that invitations for NHS Cervical Screening are transitioning to digital invitations. This means that any future invites sent out either via NHS England or Priory Medical Centre will initially be sent to eligible patients using the NHS App & Text Messages. Any patients that do not read the NHS app message, or where an SMS (text) can’t be delivered (including where people don’t have a recorded mobile phone), a letter will be sent to the patient as a failsafe. All invites will still direct people to book in the usual way.

Priory Medical Centre would like to encourage all our patients to sign up to the NHS App to enable patients to view their own medical records, view test results & book appointments.
